You'll hear the most romantic melodies from beloved films such as Titanic, Harry Potter, Dirty Dancing, The Lion King, Schindler’s List, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and more. These unforgettable scores — created by some of the greatest composers of our time like Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Yann Tiersen, and Justin Hurwitz — were written especially for the stories that moved us all.

When these notes begin to play, we are transported back to a magical world of heroes and stories. To the breathtaking deck of the Titanic. To the moment of Harry Potter’s first flight on a broomstick. To the first meeting with little Simba. Performed by a string quintet, this music sounds especially poignant—as if it comes alive in the flicker of hundreds of candles. The sea, the candles, the music—everything to make time stand still. Musicians from the Rishon LeZion Orchestra (the orchestra of the Israeli Opera) and the Philharmonic Orchestra are participating in the concert.

Please note: the concert takes place outdoors on the grounds of an ancient seaside monastery. It may get chilly by the sea in the evening, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or something warm in case of cool weather.
Also, please be aware that there is no bar or café on the monastery grounds.
Entrance to the monastery is from the Jaffa promenade side, not through the Old City.
