We invite you to an evening of music by Ludovico Einaudi and contemporary neoclassical works performed by an orchestra by candlelight at the Tel Aviv Music House.
The music of the greatest contemporary neoclassical composer. The beauty of a string orchestra’s sound. The shimmering glow of hundreds of candles filling the hall.
This evening will feature not only the works of Ludovico Einaudi, but also timeless classical masterpieces by Claude Debussy, Johann Sebastian Bach, and other composers whose music has found new life through the interpretation of modern neoclassical artists.
Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian composer and pianist, one of the brightest representatives of neoclassical music. He captured audiences worldwide with his soundtrack for the film The Intouchables. His deeply emotional and moving music can be heard in культ films, across social media, and in the world’s finest concert halls. On streaming platforms, he surpasses Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, while his albums continue to break sales records in the “classical music” category.
Yet neoclassicism did not emerge from nowhere. At its foundation lie Bach’s harmony, Debussy’s impressionism, and the beauty and depth of the great classical tradition — reimagined through the language of the present day. That is why this evening’s program brings Einaudi’s music together with works by the classical masters whose musical voices continue to resonate in the 21st century.
The orchestra will reveal the depth of these melodies in a new way: the piano will carry the emotional core, while the strings will soar to the very ceiling of the hall and beyond the clouds. In the evening sky of Tel Aviv, in the air filled with the scent of salt and the sea, you will hear Experience, Primavera, Clair de Lune, and Bach’s music illuminated by the flicker of hundreds of candles.
