JAZZ & LOVE
The Most Romantic Jazz at the Armenian Monastery

📍Tel Aviv, Armenian Monastery in Jaffa Port
1 hour 10 min, from 170 ils

Summer air infused with the scent of the Mediterranean. The soft glow of hundreds of candles. The terrace of an ancient Armenian monastery perched above the coastline. And — jazz. Authentic, live, and soul-stirring.

We invite you to experience JAZZ & LOVE — an evening where music becomes a confession of feelings, and the monastery walls at sunset resonate with the sounds of legendary love songs.

On stage — Sofie Chudnovsky and her band, renowned for their professional and profound sound. The program features timeless hits that make the heart beat a little faster: “L-O-V-E”, “Love Me or Leave Me”, “My Funny Valentine”, “The Man I Love”, “Moon River”, “Fly Me to the Moon”, “This Love”, and other melodies created for shared glances and smiles.

The gentle twilight, the whisper of the waves, and live jazz will create an atmosphere where everyone feels like the protagonist of their own love story. An evening destined to become a cherished memory.

The Lineup
  • Sofie Chudnovsky — Jazz singer, multi-instrumentalist, Netflix voice actress, and soloist of the Haifa Big Band. Her voice is a unique blend of the St. Petersburg school and vibrant Israeli temperament.
  • Neri Topchiyu — A legendary double bassist who has performed with icons like Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. Member of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra.
  • Gonen Rosenberg is a drummer and percussionist, and a graduate of the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem. For more than 27 years, he served as principal timpanist and percussionist with the Israel Chamber Orchestra, performing on major stages throughout Europe, North and South America, and the Far East. A student of legendary New York jazz drummer Michael Carvin, he has appeared at numerous international jazz and classical festivals.
  • Sergey Nikityuk is a virtuoso pianist and international competition laureate. He is the founder of Sergey Nikityuk & Jazz Do It, serves as accompanist and instructor at the Hadera Municipal Conservatory, and is the creator of the album 88 Piano Keys.
Jazz, the sea, hundreds of candles and you.

Please note: the concert takes place outdoors on the grounds of an ancient seaside monastery. It may get chilly by the sea in the evening, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or something warm in case of cool weather.

Also, please be aware that there is no bar or café on the monastery grounds.

Entrance to the monastery is from the Jaffa promenade side, not through the Old City.

See you among the candles, music, and the evening sea ✨
