On December 17, we invite you to the Ashkelon Concert Hall for “Jazz Gala. All Stars”!
On stage — not chamber jazz, but grand, orchestral, sparkling, and powerful. This is a show where every note carries the spirit of the legendary jazz clubs of New York and Chicago, with a program drawn from the golden age of jazz classics.
“Jazz Gala. All Stars” — all the hits and all the stars of the jazz sky. For a few hours, Ashkelon will turn into the world capital of jazz. On Times Square, Frank Sinatra’s voice rings out, and somewhere in Harlem you’ll hear the familiar tune: “What a Wonderful World.” And of course, there will be surprises — have you ever heard AC/DC’s Highway to Hell performed in a jazz arrangement? Think it’s impossible? In truth, hard rock and jazz were made for each other.
The star of the evening — Sofi Chudnovsky.
A jazz singer with striking charisma, voice actress for Netflix, vocal coach, and soloist of the Haifa Big Band. Her voice embodies style, freedom, and emotional depth. She feels jazz, lives jazz, sings jazz — turning pure mastery into true art.
“Jazz Gala” is a declaration of love to great music.
One night. One voice. One orchestra.
And jazz — in all its power, scope, and beauty.
