We invite you to a concert of music by Ludovico Einaudi performed by an orchestra by candlelight at the Music Center Tel Aviv Yafo.
The music of the greatest contemporary neoclassical composer. The beauty of a string orchestra’s sound. The shimmering glow of hundreds of candles filling the space of the hall.
Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian composer and pianist, one of the most prominent figures of neoclassical music. He captured audiences’ hearts with his score to the film The Intouchables. The Italian composer’s poignant and touching music is heard in iconic films, across social media, and in the world’s finest concert halls. On streaming platforms he surpasses Mozart and Beethoven, and his albums set sales records in the classical category. His minimalism and expressive clarity have become the antithesis of dense and overly complex classical music.
The orchestra will reveal new depths in Ludovico’s melodies: the piano will carry the main emotional line, while the strings will lift it to the very ceiling of the auditorium and beyond the clouds. Where, in the evening sky of Tel Aviv — in air filled with salt and the scent of the sea — you can hear Experience. Primavera in the twilight descending upon the city, Una Mattina in the flicker of candlelight.
